Family Fun Skate

Who is it for?

It is a fundraising skating session open to friends, family of the Werewolves and to the general public. In fact anyone who wants to skate or try skating.

Age Restrictions

Usual Ice rink restrictions on adult supervision of young skaters apply.

What does it cost?

Entry to skate is available at the discounted flat rate of £5 (Normal price Adult £7.20, Child £6.70). This presents a significant saving of over £5 for a family of 4 (2 Adults + 2 Children). Even better, the money donated goes towards supporting our club and providing a great sporting programme for adults and children with developmental and additional needs.

Those wanting to skate should pay for their entry at the Werewolves of London table in reception on the day. If you require skates or skating aids then these are an additional cost.

Skating Times

The skating times are 1:30pm – 5:30pm.

Other Important Information

Skate Hire

Skate Hire Boot Skate Hire will be available during the event a cost of £2 per pair. Skate hire is to be paid at leisure centre reception upon arrival. These are collected at the rink-side skate hire.

Skating aids / Penguins

penguin Penguin Hire will be available at cost of £3 per 30 minutes to be paid at leisure centre reception upon arrival. These are collected at the rink-side skate hire.

Never been to the Streatham Ice & Leisure Centre before?  The rink and leisure centre opened in November 2013.

It is located on the A23 close to Streatham Rail Station and a Bus terminus.

Nearby bus routes include 50, 109, 118, 133, 159, 249, 250, 255, G1, P13, N133

Car Parking & Fees

The Car Park is situated off the A23 and the entrance ramp to the underground parking is between the new Tescos store and the Leisure centre itself.

When you reach the bottom of the ramp turn left for the Leisure Centre parking. There are lifts and stairs to reach ground level. Be aware if you turn right and park in the Tescos store Car park there are different tariffs for parking dependent on whether you use the store.

Those with registered disabilities get free parking and just need to get a discount code from reception on the day, all others will need to pay the discounted centre tariff as the maximum stay has been increased to 6 hours.

First Aid

We hope that nobody needs this on the day but First Aid staff from the rink and the Werewolves of London are available on the day if required.

Cash Machines

Should you need them, cash machines are located outside the Tescos store next to the leisure centre.

Cafe and Refreshments

There is a Cafe onsite in the lobby of the leisure centre and vending machines at rink side. A fabulous cake stall supporting the Werewolves will also be present at rink side.
